\n\tCole Escola<\/a> has joined the cast of Netflix<\/a>\u2018s \u201cOne Piece<\/a>\u201d for Season 3.<\/p>\n

\n\tThey will play Bon Clay in the show, which is a live-action adaptation of the manga series of the same name. The official character description reads, \u201cA master of performance and precision, Bon Clay is as dangerous as they are dazzling \u2014 a theatrical assassin who turns combat into art.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cOne Piece\u201d was renewed for a third season in August, though Season 2 has yet to premiere, having been set for March 10. The series follows Monkey D. Luffy (I\u00f1aki Godoy) \u201con his quest to find the legendary fabled treasure, the One Piece, and become King of the Pirates,\u201d per the official logline. In Season 2, \u201cLuffy and the Straw Hats set sail for the extraordinary Grand Line\u2014a legendary stretch of sea where danger and wonder await at every turn. As they journey through this unpredictable realm in search of the world\u2019s greatest treasure, they\u2019ll encounter bizarre islands and a host of formidable new enemies.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tEscola is the writer of the play \u201cOh, Mary!,\u201d which opened on Broadway in 2024 and is still running. They starred in the show for several months as Mary Todd Lincoln and won a Tony for best actor in a play. On screen, they are best known for starring as Chip Wreck in Seasons 3 and 4 of \u201cSearch Party\u201d on HBO Max, with other credits including TruTV\u2019s \u201cAt Home With Amy Sedaris\u201d (2017-2020) and Hulu\u2019s \u201cDifficult People\u201d (2015-2017). They also served as a writer for \u201cZiwe,\u201d which ran on Showtime from 2021 to 2022, and appeared in multiple episodes.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cOne Piece\u201d is produced by Netflix and ITV\u2019s Tomorrow Studios in partnership with Shueisha, which published the original manga series. Joe Tracz and Ian Stokes serve as showrunners on Season 3, and executive produce with Eiichiro Oda, who wrote the manga series, as well as Tomorrow\u2019s Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements; Tetsu Fujimura; Chris Symes; Christoph Schrewe; and Steven Maeda.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Cole Escola has joined the cast of Netflix\u2018s \u201cOne Piece\u201d for Season 3.
