Heavy metal fans that were excited for Saturday\u2019s Metallica concert at Optus Stadium left the show outraged over shocking claims, slammed as \u201cdisgusting behaviour.\u201d<\/p>\n

Enraged fans took to Reddit, posting shocking claims about what others at the concert were doing in the midst of the bands first leg of their M72 Aussie tour, regardless of who was around them.<\/p>\n

The thread started when one particularity annoyed local posted \u201cWhoever was smoking shard (methamphetamine) in the pit at Metallica seriously get a life.\u201d<\/p>\n

From there others interjected with outrageous accusations of what they had witnessed during the bands first Australian tour in more than a decade.<\/p>\n

\u201cI smelt weed, dmt and meth… I couldn\u2019t believe it tbh (to be honest)…,\u201d one dumbfounded concertgoer said.<\/p>\n

Another chimed in about the disregard that many had for their surroundings, saying \u201cpeople smoking weed or meth around children and other people at a concert where you can\u2019t really avoid it, are inconsiderate f…ing a…holes.\u201d<\/p>\n

The thread, that was started three days ago, has only grown with more heavy metal fans adding their annecdotal experiences from Saturday.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe had a woman crouch down before Metallica in GA1 and light a pipe and it was like a beacon for all the derros to shuffle over and ask for a blow,\u201d a person shared.<\/p>\n

Another used it as an opportunity to talk about the growing problem in WA, saying \u201cthe meth problem in Perth is out of control and to do that at a crowded concert puts all the people around them at risk. That\u2019s disgusting behaviour.\u201d<\/p>\n

While many said the smell of marijuana was strong across Optus, with one fan evening saying that it smelled like \u201cSnoop Dogg\u2019s basement.\u201d<\/p>\n

PerthNow has contacted Optus Stadium for comment.<\/p>\n

Law enforcement had their hands full at the concert, after two South West men were charged for their dangerous antics, with the pair caught climbing the central tower inside the stadium.<\/p>\n

A teenager was also caught with a small fold-up knife outside of the stadium.<\/p>\n

The 19-year-old avoided any punishment as no charges were laid after it was found when police conducted a \u201cproactive edged weapons scanning.\u201d<\/p>\n
