West Coast star Harley Reid has stunned early morning fitness fanatics in Scarborough by making a surprise beachside appearance as the clock ticks down to the start of the club\u2019s pre-season on Monday.<\/p>\n

Reid, who signed a contract extension with the Eagles during 2025, appeared at Scarborough Reserve on Sunset Hill at 7am to give away branded towels for Revo Fitness. The promotion launched Revo Fitness\u2019 Win Win Club – a new loyalty program that rewards members for turning up.<\/p>\n

Every time a member trains, raffle tickets are earned, putting them in the running for monthly prizes such as free memberships and merchandise. Members are also entered into the draw to win $30,000 cash or a brand-new car.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery time you come into the gym you enter to win cool prizes. It\u2019s pretty cool,\u201d Reid told The West Australian.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was lucky enough to spend time in Revo gyms (during the off-season). It\u2019s good to be in a different environment and different scenery instead of just being at the club.\u201d<\/p>\n

Local fans were thrilled to see Reid. Oliver Pearce, 31, from Wembley, spotted a social media post from the Eagle which mentioned he\u2019d be in Scarborough and brought down a shoe to be signed.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe posted about it yesterday so I got here at 6.30am,\u201d Pearce said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m pretty stoked. The shoe is in Eagles colours and I reckon he\u2019s the next big thing. He\u2019ll hopefully get the Eagles a few wins.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tamika Ventrelli, 23, from Tuart Hill, said Reid had been incredibly warm and open to fans.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s cool. I\u2019ve always gone for the Eagles so it\u2019s cool to see that they\u2019re just normal people too. He\u2019s a really nice guy,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Despite being only 20, the No.1 draft pick is already one of the most recognisable faces in the AFL. He finished third in West Coast\u2019s best-and-fairest count this season, after kicking the goal of the year in 2024.<\/p>\n

Opposition clubs were clambering to offer Reid long term mega deals to leave the Eagles and join them but the Victorian has stuck with West Coast until the end of the 2028 season.<\/p>\n
