Netflix continues to keep its cards close to its chest when it comes to Greta Gerwig\u2019s upcoming adaptation of The Magician\u2019s Nephew. So much so that composer Mark Ronson told BBC Radio 4<\/a> he recently received a \u201cslap on the wrist\u201d for even talking about it.<\/p>\n

I am unfortunately not allowed to talk about [Narnia]. Sorry, I\u2019m not being coy. I\u2019ve just got a slap on the wrist.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ronson shared something similar<\/a> with a NarniaWeb reader, Francesco, at a recent book signing in London.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m not allowed to talk about that\u2026 honestly, I wish I could\u2026 I\u2019ve been a [Narnia] fan since I was four years old\u2026 those were my favorite books as a kid, I had the whole set.\u201d<\/p>\n

Beyond those remarks, Ronson hasn\u2019t revealed much about the project since first hinting<\/a> at his involvement to Today in September. In a more recent interview, he talked about visiting Hans Zimmer\u2019s studio and experimenting with \u201cold vintage synthesizers\u201d. He also indicated that he\u2019d be reuniting with Barbie co-composer Andrew Wyatt<\/a> for the Narnia score.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the second half of filming continues at Cardington Studios in England \u2014 one of the world\u2019s tallest soundstages<\/a> \u2014 and we\u2019re told production is expected to run up to Christmas.<\/p>\n
