The first trailer for Marvel\u2019s Avengers: Doomsday<\/a> will reportedly debut this December.<\/p>\n

Collider<\/a> says it \u201chas learned from multiple sources that the first footage from the MCU’s next big team-up film is scheduled to be attached to the latest installment of one of Disney’s other blockbuster franchises, Avatar: Fire and Ash<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Collider points out, that could change between now and when Avatar: Fire and Ash hits theaters on December 19, 2025. Avengers: Doomsday opens almost exactly a year later on December 18, 2026<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Disney had not yet responded to IGN\u2019s request for comment as of the time this article was published.<\/p>\n

Avengers: Doomsday wrapped filming in September<\/a>. Hard facts about the movie\u2019s plot remain scarce although we know the movie will bring together the Avengers, Fantastic Four and the original movie X-Men<\/a> for the first time on the big screen.<\/p>\n

A bevy of actors who have appeared in past Marvel projects \u2013 including Brie Larson<\/a>, Famke Janssen<\/a>, Elizabeth Olsen<\/a>, Charlie Cox<\/a>, Andrew Garfield<\/a>, Halle Berry<\/a>, and Chris Evans<\/a> \u2013 have all played coy or flat-out denied that they\u2019ll reprise their respective characters in Doomsday.<\/p>\n

Channing Tatum, who returns as Gambit, recently said Avengers: Doomsday will include moments 50 times bigger than when Wesley Snipes’ Blade turned up in Deadpool & Wolverine<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fans recently got their look at 28 Doomsday characters in costume<\/a> via an image posted to social media by a production member.<\/p>\n

Prior to that, Disney revealed the first look at Robert Downey Jr.\u2019s Doctor Doom<\/a> through promotional artwork and videos featured at the Walt Disney Marketing Expo in Shanghai.<\/p>\n
