The Argentina XV took-on and defeated the Bristol Bears in England on Friday. The 38-14 win at Ashton Gate ended a two-match European tour. The earlier match saw United Rugby Championship (URC) side Munster hanging on to beat the Argentina XV in Limerick, Ireland.<\/p>\n

The Argentina XV were 14-7 ahead at half-time. Captain Juan Cruz P\u00e9rez Rachel and fullback Tob\u00edas Wade had early tries for the Argentina XV with center Victor Worsnip responding to Wade\u2019s score for the Bristol Bears.<\/p>\n

It was the second-half where the scoring truly opened up. Hooker Leonel Oviedo crossed for a double, the first of which came with the Argentina XV having advantage. His second try was followed by a score by flanker Nicol\u00e1s D\u2019Amorim.<\/p>\n

The Bristol Bears found their way into the try zone in the final ten minutes. Debutant Ollie Harris scored with mat Protheroe converting for there English Premiership side. The impressive Tob\u00edas Wade ended the match with a second try. Bautista Faris\u00e9 converted for a convincing 38-14 victory.<\/p>\n

The Argentina XV was overwhelmingly selected from players from Super Rugby Americas (SRA) 2025. The 2026 SRA season will see the introduction of a new team, Los Capibaras.<\/a> The fourth Argentine professional team will be based in Rosario. Player movement is certain with some returning home after having played SRA for different teams.<\/p>\n
