CAMBRIDGE, Mass. \u2013 Yesterday afternoon Melchior Delloye<\/a> of Harvard men’s tennis pulled out a gritty win (4-6, 7-6 (5), 7-6 (5)) over Felipe Pinzon (Cornell) to advance to the quarterfinals at the ITA East Sectional Championship.\u00a0<\/p>\n Delloye fell in the opening set, 6-4 but bounced back and fought through the next two sets to steal the match.<\/p>\n The Crimson sophomore recorded 7-5 results in tiebreakers in each of the next two sets to narrowly defeat the fellow Ivy League foe.\u00a0<\/p>\n Delloye will now take on Paul Barbier Gazeu (South Carolina) in Chapel Hill this afternoon with a spot in the NCAA Individual Championships on the line.\u00a0<\/p>\n In the consolation draw, Nathan Blokhin<\/a> continued the hot start to his first year of collegiate tennis and defeated the No. 25 nationally ranked singles player, Noa Vukadin (Clemson).\u00a0 Blokhin won the first set 6-3 and then pulled out a 13-11 victory in the third set tiebreaker.\u00a0\u00a0
