Police are appealing for potential victims of a man who has been charged with raping and assaulting a woman in a small Queensland town to come forward.<\/p>\n
The 45-year-old from \ufeffAmamoor near Gympie is accused of physically and sexually assaulting a woman he knew in October at a property where they both live separately.<\/p>\n
The woman was aged over 60.<\/p>\n
Gympie CIB Officer in Charge Detective Acting Sergeant Kiel Duggen said detectives are appealing for further victims who had also lived at the same property.<\/p>\n
“We reasonably believe there may be more people that have been the victims alleged sexual offences committed by the man, and not reported it to police,” Detective Acting Sergeant Duggen said.<\/p>\n
“Please be assured that we’ll treat you and your story with sensitivity, dignity and respect.”<\/p>\n
