After starring as his fan-favorite version of the Man Without Fear between 2015 and 2018 in Netflix\u2019s Defenders Saga, it has been great to see Charlie Cox integrated into the MCU proper. He officially returned as Peter Parker\u2019s (Tom Holland) lawyer during Spider-Man: No Way Home in 2021, so <a href=\"https:\/\/comicbook.com\/movies\/news\/1-spider-man-brand-new-day-rumor-just-got-a-disappointing-official-response\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Spider-Man and Daredevil might continue to be connected in the MCU\u2019s future<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The events of Spider-Man: No Way Home and the current state of <a href=\"https:\/\/comicbook.com\/movies\/news\/spider-mans-long-awaited-mcu-battle-with-kingpin-finally-comes-to-life-in-perfect-concept-poster\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">New York under the mayorship of Wilson Fisk\u2019s Kingpin<\/a> (Vincent D\u2019Onofrio) means it would make sense for Daredevil to have a role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. This has been imagined in new fan art shared by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DQCS10sDtEG\/?igsh=MWN0emNuZTg4Y3Z2eg%3D%3D\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">@spdrmnkyxxiii on Instagram<\/a>, which pits Peter Parker and Matt Murdock \u2014\u00a0in his new black superhero costume \u2014 against unseen antagonists out to kill them. Daredevil\u2019s appearance in Brand New Day has long been rumored, and while Cox has denied his involvement, it\u2019s possible the Devil of Hell\u2019s Kitchen could appear.<\/p>\n<p>What Role Could Daredevil Have in Spider-Man: Brand New Day?<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"576\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Matt-Murdock-in-Spider-Man-No-Way-Home.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1527001\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>At the start of 2025, Daredevil: Born Again saw Matt Murdock finally lead a continuation of his Defenders Saga solo series in the MCU itself. The first season marked the election of Wilson Fisk as Mayor of New York, which allowed him to manipulate events leading to the outlawing of vigilantes in the city and the establishment of the Anti-Vigilante Task Force. This event must impact far more heroes than just Daredevil \u2014 who will be dealing with the fallout in <a href=\"https:\/\/comicbook.com\/tv-shows\/news\/marvel-characters-in-daredevil-born-again-season-2-elektra-luke-cage\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Daredevil: Born Again season 2 in 2026<\/a> \u2014 as there are many other heroes in New York, including Spider-Man.<\/p>\n<p>The exploration of Marvel Comics\u2019 Devil\u2019s Reign storyline from 2021 in the MCU means many New York-based heroes could come together in coming projects. We already know Krysten Ritter\u2019s Jessica Jones will be returning alongside Daredevil in Born Again season 2, but it would also be great to see Spider-Man join the ranks of Daredevil\u2019s army. Long-time Daredevil enemy-turned-ally <a href=\"https:\/\/comicbook.com\/tv-shows\/feature\/10-years-after-his-mcu-debut-2026-will-be-the-biggest-year-for-the-punisher\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal), the Punisher, will be showing up in Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/a> following appearances in Born Again season 2 and his own Special Presentation, so Brand New Day could continue the Devil\u2019s Reign event.<\/p>\n<p>If this is the case, it would make perfect sense for Matt Murdock to make an appearance alongside Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. We don\u2019t yet know the details of <a href=\"https:\/\/comicbook.com\/comics\/news\/spider-man-brand-new-day-cast-characters-comics-explained\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Destin Daniel Cretton\u2019s upcoming Spider-Man sequel<\/a>, but with the likes of Holland, Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, Sadie Sink, Liza Col\u00f3n-Zayas, Michael Mando, Tramell Tillman, Marvin Jones III, and more in the cast, it promises to be a thrilling adventure for the now-anonymous wall-crawler. How great would it be if Daredevil became involved in Spider-Man\u2019s next story? This could set them up for many more adventures in the MCU\u2019s future.<\/p>\n<p>What do you think?
