VfB Stuttgart secured three important points on Sunday evening with a 3-2 home victory against FC Augsburg<\/a>. More than the goals, the team’s mentality and unity were at the forefront. For head coach Sebastian Hoene\u00df, the success was primarily a credit to the entire team.<\/p>\n

“It was a hard and difficult game \u2013 Augsburg<\/a> really challenged us, and we were mentally at our limit after the many matches in recent days. My team mobilized everything, and we are very happy that we got the three points,” Hoene\u00df said afterwards to the club’s own media.\u00a0<\/p>\n

VfB showed strong fighting spirit but had to cope with early setbacks: “Basically, we started the game well, but we didn’t look good with the early goal against us, which opened up the match. The positive thing is how quickly we managed to come back \u2013 even after the second setback.”<\/p>\n

The second half, in particular, made Hoene\u00df optimistic: “We were overall better in the game, had many half-chances. It was crucial that we scored the goal to make it 3-2 almost immediately after Augsburg’s big chance, allowing us to turn the game in our favor.”<\/p>\n

For the coach, the victory is more than just a success in the league battle. It shows the progress VfB has made in recent weeks and underscores the importance of each player: “Overall, we are very satisfied with how we have shaped and now rounded off the current block. It is a credit to the entire team \u2013 all players contribute to our current situation with their performance and commitment.”<\/p>\n

Hoene\u00df thus emphasized the collective performance of his team: not only tactical play but also mental strength and team spirit were decisive. A victory that gives VfB Stuttgart<\/a> momentum for the upcoming matches and shows how the team holds together under pressure.<\/p>\n
