Ireland\u2019s Jamie Osborne<\/a> has been ruled out of Saturday\u2019s Autumn international against Australia<\/a> in Dublin after sustaining a shoulder injury in the weekend win against Japan.<\/p>\n

The Leinster<\/a> back, who started at full-back on Saturday and in the previous week\u2019s defeat to the All Blacks<\/a> in Chicago, was forced off in the second half of Saturday\u2019s 41-10 win.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old, who had covered for first-choice full-back Hugo Keenan<\/a>, will also miss the November 22 clash with world champions South Africa<\/a> in Dublin.<\/p>\n

Centre Garry Ringrose<\/a> and Leinster team-mate Josh van der Flier are both hoping to prove their fitness after respective hamstring strains kept them out against Japan.<\/p>\n

Head coach Andy Farrell will announce his squad on Thursday, while wing Mack Hansen<\/a> (foot) and centre Stuart McCloskey<\/a> (adductor) have both linked back up with the squad.<\/p>\n

Farrell made eight changes against Japan<\/a> at the weekend and will be hoping his side can build further momentum after the New Zealand<\/a> defeat with victory over Australia.<\/p>\n

The Wallabies are bidding to bounce back from successive defeats. They were surprisingly beaten 26-19 by Italy<\/a> in Udine on Saturday and lost 25-7 to England<\/a> at the Allianz Stadium the previous week.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt doesn\u2019t look good, poor lad \u2013 you could see by the way he was holding his arm,\u201d said Farrell about Osborne\u2019s injury on Saturday after the Japan game. \u201cI thought he might have broken something. But it\u2019s the shoulder, we think, that was out of place and back in place now.
