Gordon missed the first two games due to a quad injury and came off the court after 54 minutes, pulling up sore. The flyhalf was confident he would be right to face Ireland on Sunday (AEDT).<\/p>\n
\u201cI came off with a little bit of quad tightness but it\u2019s been feeling better each day,” he believes.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ll rip into training this week and it should be good.\u201d<\/p>\n
The injury noticeably kept the former Rebel from kicking, with Andrew Kellaway taking over the duties from the tee.<\/p>\n
Gordon was eager to regain the duties heading forward as he continues to work his way back into the sport.<\/p>\n
“Early in the week, we just made a decision that we were going to offload some of that kicking, obviously, but ideally back into pretty much doing all of it. Obviously we’ve got to keep tabs on it, making sure I’m not doing too much, but ideally get back to doing all the kicking,” he said.<\/p>\n
