Chris Eubank Jr has revealed that he will become a father ahead of his upcoming fight against Conor Benn.<\/p>\n

Eubank, the former WBA interim middleweight champion, takes on London-born Benn in a hotly anticipated rematch at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

The son of Chris Eubank Sr emerged victorious in the grudge match seven months ago, and the pair face off once more in north London.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Their fathers \u2013 Chris and Nigel \u2013 fought each other twice in two world-title contests in the 1990s.<\/p>\n

Now, ahead of the two sons\u2019 second bout this week, Eubank announced a big life update on his social media, accompanied with video revealing the news to his father.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to start that next chapter in my life,\u201d Eubank Jr told Eubank Sr.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019ve got two grandsons that are on the way.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cRastafari reach!\u201d the former two-division world champion replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cI never thought about being a father for my whole life,\u201d Eubank Jr continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to be the type of father that my kids can come to me and talk about anything. I couldn\u2019t do that with my old man.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hostilities have begun again on fight week, with Benn launching a weight jibe at Eubank, referencing his missing weight for the first fight. He was fined \u00a3375,000 as a result.<\/p>\n
