Princess Beatrice has made a major public appearance for a charity event in the United Kingdom in the latest sign the royal\u2019s standing is unaffected by her parents\u2019 scandals.<\/p>\n

The former Duke and Duchess of York have face renewed public scrutiny over their ties to late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, prompting the palace to strip the York Dukedom.<\/p>\n

Beatrice\u2019s parents will also vacate their longtime family home Royal Lodge, while Andrew has also lost the Prince title he has carried since birth.<\/p>\n

The shocking decision sparked speculation that Beatrice and Eugenie – who have Princess and HRH titles but are not working royals – could be sidelined over the sins of their parents.<\/p>\n

In recent days Beatrice was announced as a deputy patron for the organisation Outward Bound, a move that will see the Princess working closer with her uncle Prince Edward<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On Monday, the elder York sister made a more significant public appearance as part of her patronage for the organisation Borne at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.<\/p>\n

Beatrice, 37, was joined by TV weather presenter Laura Tobin in London at the laboratories of Borne, which funds research into how to prevent premature births.<\/p>\n

The Princess and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi welcomed their second daughter Athena at the same hospital earlier this year. \u00a0<\/p>\n

“The work that Borne is undertaking is something that is incredibly close and personal to me following the early arrival of my second daughter,\u201d the Princess said of the visit.<\/p>\n

“Today’s visit was not only insightful but has given me so much hope for pregnant mothers in the UK that this topic is being taken incredibly seriously.<\/p>\n

“As a patron of Borne, I am so grateful for the scientists and clinicians who took the time today to show me the advances they are making to reduce the risks to expectant mums and babies.”<\/p>\n

Beatrice, who holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in history from the prestigious Goldsmiths university, maintains a growing number of royal patronages.<\/p>\n
