It’s an indie lover’s dream as Soccer Mommy takes on ‘Gold Soundz’ by the ultimate indie dads Pavement for her Like A Version debut.

The Switzerland-born, Nashville-raised singer songwriter wove her cover with soothing vocals and jangly guitars (it’s central, so essential), bringing her intricate energy to the front. Like a balm for the soul.

“I just always really liked this one and thought it suited my voice nicely,” she said.

“I think it’s just really catchy. It gets stuck in your head. It has a nice melody and nice guitar parts. I really like the jangliness of the guitars in this song. So I think that’s what drew me to it.”

Soccer Mommy’s a huge fan of Pavement, and we are huge fans of Soccer Mommy. What a golden moment.
