Collingwood has four of its first eight clashes locked away for the 2026 AFL<\/a> season.<\/p>\n

The Victorian powerhouse has been confirmed to face St Kilda (Opening Round) and Fremantle (Gather Round) in the league’s marquee weekends during the early stages of the season.<\/p>\n

However, the Pies also have much-awaited clashes on Anzac Day against Essendon, as well as the Easter Thursday game against Brisbane at the Gabba.<\/p>\n

It then leaves little to the imagination for Collingwood fans in the opening seven rounds, with four match-ups all but confirmed.<\/p>\n

The Pies, due to their participation in Opening Round, will get a bye, likely placed in Round 2 or 3.<\/p>\n

The latter of those two weekends is the most likely for the bye hat will make up for Opening Round, given they fly to Brisbane for a Thursday night the following week.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Craig McRae’s men will have back-to-back away trips, heading north to face the Lions before travelling to South Australia for a battle with the Dockers.<\/p>\n

The full 2026 AFL<\/a> fixture will be released on Thursday.<\/p>\n
