Mike Tyson said he has a \u201cdisintegrating dose\u201d of foot fungus and his toes \u201clook like they blew up.\u201d <\/p>\n

During a Tuesday appearance on \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live,\u201d<\/a> the former heavyweight champion explained that his fungus \u201cis still really bad\u201d while discussing why he never wore socks in the ring as he rose to the top of the sport in the 80s.<\/p>\n

\u201cI only used to for fighting where that was my image,\u201d Tyson, 59, said. \u201cIt was real hardcore, no socks.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then I somehow discovered that I had a disintegrating dose of foot fungus. And it was really bad. It\u2019s still really bad now. I got it fixed. Come on, I\u2019m serious, man.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

When asked by host Jimmy Kimmel if \u201cfoot fungus is your greatest opponent of all,\u201d Tyson agreed.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, I would have to say so because it\u2019s still kicking my ass now,\u201d Tyson said.<\/p>\n

Kimmel joked that Tyson would be great in a commercial for Desenex, an anti-fungal foot powder used to treat athlete\u2019s foot.<\/p>\n

\u201cDesenex cannot help me,\u201d Tyson said. \u201cMy toes look like they blew up.\u201d <\/p>\n

Tyson and Floyd Mayweather agreed to an exhibition fight in 2026.<\/p>\n

Tyson last fought Jake Paul in November 2024. <\/p>\n

The internet personality-turned boxer defeated Tyson by unanimous decision in an eight-round heavyweight bout at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.<\/p>\n

Tyson dealt with a number of\u00a0health issues<\/a>\u00a0leading up to the fight, including an ulcer flare-up, which forced them to postpone the fight. <\/p>\n

After the fight, Tyson\u00a0revealed he almost died<\/a>\u00a0in June 2024.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is one of those situations when you lost but still won,\u201d\u00a0he wrote<\/a>\u00a0on X. \u201cI\u2019m grateful for last night. No regrets to get in ring one last time. I almost died in June.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
