{"id":281218,"date":"2025-11-13T06:55:10","date_gmt":"2025-11-13T06:55:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/281218\/"},"modified":"2025-11-13T06:55:10","modified_gmt":"2025-11-13T06:55:10","slug":"dane-makes-early-premiair-supercars-appearance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/281218\/","title":{"rendered":"Dane makes early PremiAir Supercars appearance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-1544-Jayden-Ojeda\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">JAYDEN Ojeda<\/a> isn\u2019t the only familiar face at PremiAir Racing getting a headstart on 2026 this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>While driving recruit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/xiberras-lifts-lid-on-ojedas-early-debut\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jayden Ojeda is slotting in earlier than expected<\/a> for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-1189-Richie-Stanaway\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Richie Stanaway<\/a> aboard the #62 Camaro, Roland Dane has also popped up today in the Supercars paddock.<\/p>\n<p>V8 Sleuth understands Dane will be with PremiAir in an unofficial capacity throughout the Sandown round, making observations <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/roland-dane-appointed-premiair-team-principal\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ahead of taking on team principal duties next season<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>PremiAir owner Peter Xiberras is wiping the slate clean for 2026 after a largely disappointing season, his squad holding 10th in the teams\u2019 championship with just about the sole highlight being <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-1192-James-Golding\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">James Golding<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-29-David-Russell\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">David Russell<\/a>\u2019s Bathurst 1000 podium.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/superstore.v8sleuth.com.au\/products\/1-18-scale-2025-bathurst-1000-31-chevrolet-camaro-golding-russell-model-pre-order?utm_source=SRBuyButton&amp;utm_medium=website\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/ACD18C25UWebsite_P3Pitboard_d8307020-daff-40cc-89d7-94ea4f6bb972_1024x1024.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/frasers-guarantee-for-supercars-second-coming\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Declan Fraser will also come in as Ojeda\u2019s teammate<\/a>, with Golding off to the Blanchard Racing Team.<\/p>\n<p>Dane has not held team principal responsibilities since the end of 2021, although he did manage Triple Eight\u2019s Bathurst wildcard entry the following year.<\/p>\n<p>Dane will slide in above team manager Peter Vale as PremiAir looks to make its latest hierarchy a success, having seen Dan Ensor (team manager), Matt Cook (team principal), Stephen Robertson (team manager) and Gwyn Dolphin (CEO) all come and go in recent years.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"JAYDEN Ojeda isn\u2019t the only familiar face at PremiAir Racing getting a headstart on 2026 this weekend.
