\u00a0The Nun director\u00a0Corin Hardy is back with cursed object horror movie Whistle, and a brand new teaser gives a closer look at the supernatural carnage unleashed from an ancient Aztec Death Whistle.<\/p>\n
Whistle has been rated \u201cR\u201d for \u201cstrong violent content, gore, drug content, and some language\u201d and will be released in theaters in 2026.<\/p>\n
The new teaser withholds the full scope of the horror, but does set up some interesting kills and supernatural set pieces. Watch below.<\/p>\n
The high school horror movie centered around an Aztec Death Whistle, known for its shrieking sound, stars\u00a0Dafne Keen (Logan,\u00a0\u201cThe Acolyte<\/a>\u201c),\u00a0Sophie N\u00e9lisse (\u201cYellowjackets\u201d),\u00a0Sky Yang (Rebel Moon),\u00a0Percy Hynes White (\u201cWednesday\u201d), and\u00a0Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead).<\/p>\n In\u00a0Whistle, \u201ca misfit group of unwitting high school students stumble upon a cursed object, an ancient Aztec Death Whistle. They discover that blowing the whistle and the terrifying sound it emits will summon their future deaths to hunt them down. As the body count rises, the friends investigate the origins of the deadly artifact in a desperate effort to stop the horrifying chain of events that they have set in motion.\u201d<\/p>\n The film was written by\u00a0Owen Egerton\u00a0(Blood Fest, Mercy Black), adapted from his own short story.
