The Briton won three Grand Slam titles and two Olympic gold medals before bringing his career to an end last year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I was playing, I didn\u2019t really have much pride in my career because a lot of the times, I was surrounded by three of the best tennis players of all time and your achievements are kind of miniscule in comparison to those guys and you\u2019re kind of looking to them, one, to try and learn and improve, but also you want to try and match their results,\u201d he said on the Romesh Ranganathan Show.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019re having to beat these players, so I didn\u2019t have much pride in what I\u2019d achieved whilst I was playing.
