Terence Crawford<\/a> has never really looked close to tasting defeat throughout his illustrious professional career.<\/p>\n

Crawford has defeated all comers since making his debut way back in 2008, claiming world honours at lightweight, super-lightweight, welterweight, super-welterweight and most recently super-middleweight along the way.<\/p>\n

He is also the first male fighter to ever become undisputed champion in three separate divisions, doing so at 140lbs and 147lbs before then accomplishing it at 168lbs when he moved up two weight classes and beat Canelo Alvarez in September.<\/a><\/p>\n

Despite all of those accolades, legendary fighter-turned-promoter Oscar De La Hoya<\/a> has named a current fighter that he thinks could have knocked out Crawford.<\/p>\n

Speaking to MailSport Boxing<\/a> for their Knockout series, De La Hoya was asked to pick a winner between Crawford and fellow former welterweight world champion Manny Pacquiao<\/a> at their peak, and he sided with the Filipino icon.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt their prime, Pacquiao knockout.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pacquiao made a sensational return to the sport back in July at the age of 46, when he fought to a majority decision draw against WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

Prior to that, \u2018PacMan\u2019 made history by becoming boxing\u2019s only ever eight-weight world champion, defeating the likes of Oscar De La Hoya, Juan Manuel Marquez, Shane Mosley, Miguel Cotto and Marco Antonio Barrera along the way.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s currently unknown what Pacquiao\u2019s next move will be, but he has been linked to a number of different options, including a rematch with former rival Floyd Mayweather<\/a>, and a clash against WBA welterweight champion Rolly Romero.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Terence Crawford has never really looked close to tasting defeat throughout his illustrious professional career.
