Coach Shanahan said Purdy should have a good chance to play if he continues making progress this week. Because of that, Winston could get the start when the Giants take on the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.<\/p>\n Winston, 31, hasn’t played a single snap with the Giants this season. He’s been the team’s No. 3 option throughout the season and has been inactive for games due to that designation. But it sounds like that’s all about to change in Week 11.<\/p>\n While Winston won’t take the job away from Dart, who has performed well in limited action, the former No. 1 overall pick could show the Giants he deserves to be the team’s No. 2 option next season.
