SALT LAKE CITY \u2014 A member of BYU\u2019s men\u2019s basketball team was arrested Thursday morning for allegedly driving under the influence.<\/p>\n

According to a press release from the Provo Police Department, officers responded to a crash at the intersection of 900 West Center St. at approximately 11:45 a.m.<\/p>\n

While responding to the crash, officers \u201cfound reason\u201d to arrest one of the drivers, 20-year-old Kennard Davis, for \u201csuspected DUI.\u201d Davis is a player on BYU\u2019s men\u2019s basketball team<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After this, Davis was taken to the Provo Police Station, where he was cited with DUI charges.<\/p>\n

He was then released to receive medical care for minor injuries he sustained during the crash. His car has been impounded.<\/p>\n
