She might not have found love on The Golden Bachelor<\/a>, but rumours are swirling that Jan Herdman<\/a> will star in the inaugural season of The Golden Bachelorette<\/a>. Fans have rallied around the 67-year-old transformation coach to receive a second chance at finding love on TV after Barry \u2018Bear\u2019 Myrden<\/a> sent her home this week.<\/p>\n

While Channel 9<\/a> has yet to green-light the spin-off series, which launched in the US last year, it appears Jan is definitely interested in the idea. The bodybuilder recently joined the talent agency DL COMMS, with director Drew Lambert telling Yahoo Lifestyle<\/a> that she has a very exciting media career ahead of her.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhether she\u2019s tapped to become The Golden Bachelorette or launches her own TV show about helping Australians over 50 live stronger, longer lives, there is a massive audience waiting for this kind of storytelling,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are also countless brands trying to connect with this demographic, and Jan is the one person who can speak to them with real conviction.\u201d<\/p>\n

Drew went on to say that his phone \u201chasn\u2019t stopped ringing\u201d over the past two weeks with brands eager to work with Jan.<\/p>\n

The Golden Bachelor host, Samantha Armytage<\/a>, told Yahoo Lifestyle<\/a> that although nothing has been finalised yet, she would love to expand the\u00a0franchise here.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs we say with this show, you don’t know what the future holds,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I think let’s just get The Golden Bachelor\u2019s inaugural Australian season to air and see how that goes, but I think there is a bright future ahead for this show.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, it\u2019s been confirmed that The Golden Bachelor will be returning for a second season after a casting call from Warner Bros. was recently posted online.<\/p>\n
