On Friday, Hong Kong\u2019s men get to do something they haven\u2019t really had a chance at doing in the past several years, and that\u2019s play in a meaningful game of rugby sevens in front of their home fans.<\/p>\n

The rather desperate Melrose Claymores competition that arose from the rubble of a demolished HSBC SVNS Series barely registers every April, so the National Games gold medal clash against Shandong tonight is a welcome return to serious sport.<\/p>\n

There is plenty going on as we reach the end of the first official week of the Games, with Siobhan Haughey back in the pool in the semi-finals of the women\u2019s 100 metres freestyle and more medals up for grabs at the Velodrome.<\/p>\n
