\n\tEXCLUSIVE: Canadian comedy Late Bloomer<\/a> is back in production in Toronto, and it\u2019s got a new look showrunner team.<\/p>\n

\n\tSeries creator and star Jasmeet Raina<\/a> and Nelu Handa will take on showrunning duties for the Crave<\/a> original, with Raina also directing four episodes. Canadian filmmaker Fawzia Mirza will direct the other four. We\u2019ve also got a first look at Season 3, which you can view above.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe show follows Jasmeet Dutta, a turban-wearing millennial struggling to find his place in life while balancing Eastern roots with Western ideals. It\u2019s based on the life of Raina, previously known as YouTuber JusReign.<\/p>\n

\n\tPer the synopsis, \u201cSeason 3 finds him overcoming a heartbreak to reach new heights in his celebrityhood and finally reaping the fruits of his labour \u2013 kind of. With new, exciting career milestones, cracks forming in his friendships, and an unwelcome addition to the family dynamics, Jasmeet grapples with his personal growth and the pressures of his career.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLate Bloomer has been among Crave\u2019s top performing original series, and featured as a Global Breakout earlier this year. Season 3 was announced as part of Crave\u2019s 2025\/26 season slate.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI never could have imagined when I first started developing\u00a0Late\u00a0Bloomer that we would get to where we are now \u2013 it feels wild to be making a third season,\u201d Raina said in a statement issued to Deadline. \u201cI feel like we\u2019ve delivered two amazing seasons, and we\u2019ve always strived to elevate each one \u2013 so there are some big swings going into season three.<\/p>\n
