It\u2019s now official: Hungary\u2019s national team captain, Dominik Szoboszlai, is getting his own wax figure at Madame Tussauds Budapest. The life-sized likeness of the Liverpool star will be unveiled on 19 November at the Dorottya Street attraction, where visitors will also be able to take selfies with his wax counterpart.<\/p>\n

Szoboszlai visited the workshop twice<\/p>\n

Madame Tussauds Budapest has confirmed the circulating rumours: Dominik Szoboszlai visited the 250-year-old museum\u2019s London workshop on two occasions. During the strictly confidential sessions, hundreds of photographs and precise measurements were taken to ensure the figure replicates his appearance as faithfully as possible. The process took several hours, with experts paying close attention to every detail\u2014from facial expressions to body proportions.<\/p>\n

According to the museum\u2019s statement, this will be the world\u2019s first wax figure of Dominik Szoboszlai, making the Budapest reveal a true premiere within the international Madame Tussauds universe.<\/p>\n

Joining the icons<\/p>\n

Szoboszlai will be showcased among the biggest legends of the Budapest attraction, appearing alongside Ferenc Pusk\u00e1s, L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Papp, Katinka Hossz\u00fa, as well as global stars such as Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Usain Bolt. Madame Tussauds Budapest currently displays more than 60 life-sized wax figures, featuring politicians, scientists, artists and athletes, Turizmus.com reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to the museum, Dominik Szoboszlai\u2019s wax figure represents \u201cone of modern Hungarian sport\u2019s greatest figures,\u201d who is carrying on Pusk\u00e1s\u2019 legacy in the world of international football.<\/p>\n

The Liverpool star shines again<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old midfielder has once again been in excellent form in the English Premier League this season. Wearing Liverpool\u2019s colours, he has played a key role in several matches and is considered one of the club\u2019s best signings in recent years. According to renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano<\/a>, Liverpool have already begun talks to extend Szoboszlai\u2019s contract, signalling that the club sees him as a long-term asset.<\/p>\n

He is also a true fan favourite, with many supporters viewing him as the heir to club legend Steven Gerrard. With this, Szoboszlai has firmly cemented his status as a global superstar\u2014now reinforced by Madame Tussauds\u2019 decision to immortalise him in wax.<\/p>\n

When can you see it?<\/p>\n

From 19 November, the public will be able to meet Dominik Szoboszlai\u2019s life-sized wax figure at Madame Tussauds Budapest. The museum has also released a special video showing how the measurements and moulding process took place.<\/p>\n
