Millie Bobby Brown<\/a> has had enough of photographers yelling instructions at her.<\/p>\n

The Stranger Things<\/a> star was on the red carpet posing for the cameras Thursday at the London premiere of the Netflix series’ fifth and final season, when she appeared to react to someone telling her how to look.<\/p>\n

“Smile?” she yelled back and pointed at them. “You smile!”<\/p>\n

A viral clip<\/a> from the event shows Brown, who wore a corset and a tulle skirt, annoyed and walking away altogether. (She’s far from the only celebrity who’s had a negative interaction<\/a> with photographers<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

Brown, who’s now 21, was just 12 when the sci-fi story was first released. As she’s grown up, she’s been open about what she finds acceptable and unacceptable in the media’s treatment of her.<\/p>\n

The actress recently spoke about the reason she took tabloids to task earlier this year for “dissecting my face, my body” and “my choices.” She had called out journalists<\/a> for “bullying” her in March.<\/p>\n

“I started in this industry when I was 10 years old,” Brown said in an Instagram video<\/a>. “I grew up in front of the world, and for some reason, people can’t seem to grow up with me. Instead, they act like I’m supposed to stay frozen in time, like I should still look the way I did on Stranger Things season 1, and because I don’t, I\u2019m now a target.”<\/p>\n

Looking back on the comments, Brown told British Vogue<\/a> that some of the headlines had tormented her.<\/p>\n

“‘Oh my God, what has she done with her face? Why has she gone blonde? She looks 60 years old!'” Brown said of what she’d seen. “I respect journalism. I love reading articles on my favorite people and hearing what they’re up to. I understand that there’s paparazzi, even though it’s invasive, even though it feels like s— to me \u2014 I know that’s your job. But don’t, in your headline, slam me at the get-go. It is so wrong and it is bullying, especially to young girls who are new to this industry and are already questioning everything about it.”<\/p>\n

In addition to Stranger Things, Brown is known for her work in the Enola Holmes movies and The Electric State, which was released in March. She married Jake Bongiovi<\/a>, a model and the son of rocker Jon Bon Jovi, in May 2024, and they announced in August that they had adopted a baby girl<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The first four episodes of Stranger Things season 5 drop Nov. 26 on Netflix.<\/p>\n
