<\/p>\nSATURDAY\u2019S Busfurb sponsored Stableford drew a big field with 18 players having a net 36 points (par round) or better score. <\/p>\n
Top of the list was Allan Clarke playing off a two handicap with a net 41. <\/p>\n
Four players, John Dowzard, Dave Poole, Bob Lindsay and Tony Campbell all finished one shot back on net 40 with John finishing runner up on a count back.<\/p>\n
Straight shooters with nearest the pins were Lance Hore and Jim Wilkes.<\/p>\n
On Tuesday the ladies competition was affected by a horse race in Melbourne.<\/p>\n
Dave Poole\u2019s luck did not change in the Mid Week competition \u2013 for the second time in the week he finished runner up on a count back with 40 points, this time to Peter O\u2019Neill.<\/p>\n
Round of the year was Mick Mannings 5 under par in the Chook Run. <\/p>\n
With his handicap this gave him a net 31 which most players accept for 18 holes.<\/p>\n
