{"id":286026,"date":"2025-11-15T11:10:07","date_gmt":"2025-11-15T11:10:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/286026\/"},"modified":"2025-11-15T11:10:07","modified_gmt":"2025-11-15T11:10:07","slug":"marc-marquez-feeling-a-bit-strange-after-latest-motogp-injury","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/286026\/","title":{"rendered":"Marc Marquez feeling \u201ca bit strange\u201d after latest MotoGP injury"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">Marc Marquez has made his return to a MotoGP circuit this weekend for the Valencia Grand Prix (14\u201316 November), but admits it has been \u201ca bit strange\u201d to watch the championship finish from the sidelines after his latest injury.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Marquez has been out of action since he crashed with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/motogp\/racer\/995158\/marco-bezzecchi\" data-entity-type=\"external\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Marco Bezzecchi<\/a> on the first lap of the Indonesian <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/motogp\" data-entity-type=\"external\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">MotoGP<\/a> in October and will not ride Ducati\u2019s Desmosedici GP again until next February\u2019s Sepang test.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Having wrapped the 2025 title up in Japan the week before his crash with Bezzecchi, Marquez feels his injury came in the \u201cbest moment\u201d.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cA bit strange,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/motogp\/racer\/1654\/marc-marquez\" data-entity-type=\"external\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Marc Marquez<\/a> said of his emotions since Indonesia, speaking to the MotoGP world feed broadcast during FP2 on Saturday morning (November).<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cIt\u2019s true that the injury arrived in a moment when you must celebrate, but, in the end, on the other hand, it arrived in the best moment because everything was closed.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cSo, a lot of up and downs, but this injury will not affect the way that I celebrate this championship.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Recovery \u201ccoming better\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Marquez will not be able to ride at the Valencia test on Tuesday, the Spaniard keen to give his body the time it needs to recover before getting back on a MotoGP bike after his previous experience with trying to shorten recovery times in 2020.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">But he feels that he will be fit and ready for the 2026 season, despite the significance of this injury in the right shoulder he had surgery on after the 2019 season.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cIt\u2019s coming better,\u201d the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/motogp\/teams\/ducati-lenovo-team\" data-entity-type=\"external\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ducati Lenovo Team<\/a> rider said.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cOf course, it takes time, because in the end the right shoulder we need to take care about all the small details.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cThis week I started with some rehabilitation; now I need to be patient, like two or three more weeks, then when the bone will be fully fixed I will start a bit better.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cBut it looks like everything is going in a good way, and the most important thing is that this new injury didn\u2019t affect the other injuries.
