In an interview on \u201cGood Morning America\u201d<\/a> July 28, Jamie Lee Curtis<\/a> \u2014\u00a0who has made many a-headline<\/a> herself recently \u2014\u00a0said she has made it her mission to get Lindsay Lohan<\/a> cast as Ann-Margret<\/a> in a biopic of the legendary star.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m going to out you now to the world \u2014\u00a0I want her to do the Ann-Margret<\/a> story,\u201d Curtis said. \u201cSo, every day on Instagram\u2026 I find videos of her back in the day, and I send [Lohan] every day videos [of Ann-Margret].\u201d And Lohan added that she used to watch Ann-Margret\u2019s movies with her grandmother.<\/p>\n

In an interview with IndieWire, Ann-Margret said that she co-signs Lohan as her portrayer.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know that she wants to do that,\u201d she said. \u201cIt just depends on what the dialogue is like. What can I say? I adore her. I think she\u2019s full of talent, and I just would like to see what they can come up with.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked if there is a period of her life Ann-Margret believes would be best to depict on film<\/a>, the \u201cCarnal Knowledge\u201d<\/a> star said she wasn\u2019t sure \u2014 though there is plenty of gold to mine from, including a dramatic 1972 fall onstage while performing in Lake Tahoe, her much discussed relationship with Elvis Presley, her rocket to stardom in \u201cBye Bye Birdie,\u201d and her resurgence as a multi-Oscar-nominated star in the \u201970s.<\/p>\n

Lohan told Andy Cohen (via People<\/a>) last year that they were working on the story for the film, adding \u201cIt has to be the way that she wants it to be, so I really want it to be special in that way.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also told Bustle<\/a>, \u201cShe\u2019s a triple threat, and she\u2019s an amazing woman on top of that. So I just really want to do her justice and help tell a great story for her.\u201d She encouraged people to watch Ann-Margret\u2019s 1964 film \u201cKitten With a Whip,\u201d describing the plot as about \u201cthis girl who breaks out of a mental institution and breaks into this man\u2019s house who\u2019s running for senator, and starts inviting all her friends over and tells him she\u2019s not leaving and basically holds him hostage in his own home.\u201d<\/p>\n
