The Bruins announced he would not return.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The incident occurred at 11:01 with the Canadiens on a power play. Dobson\u2019s one-timer appeared to deflect off Boston forward <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/player\/mark-kastelic\/8480355\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/player\/mark-kastelic\/8480355\" target=\"_blank\">Mark Kastelic<\/a> before hitting McAvoy\u2019s mouth area.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">McAvoy immediately covered his face and dropped to the ice, while a team doctor rushed from the bench to help him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The 27-year-old American then hurried to the dressing room after bleeding on the ice.
