The Southern Charm cast are no strangers to drama \u2014 but according to star Shep Rose<\/a>, two cast members in particular are going to be feeling the heat during the show\u2019s season 11 reunion.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, Craig [Conover]<\/a> and Austen [Kroll]<\/a> are,\u201d Shep exclusively told Us Weekly while walking the BravoCon 2025<\/a> red carpet in Las Vegas on Friday, November 14. \u201cIt\u2019s eye opening, their differences. And it\u2019s real, and it\u2019s, it\u2019s raw.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked if he believes the pair can maintain a friendship after the show, Shep \u2014 who considers both a dear friend \u2014 gave a candid response.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey can,\u201d he told Us. \u201cThey both are very hard headed and stubborn.\u201d<\/p>\n

One of the issues Shep believes befell the pair is Craig\u2019s tendency to \u201cimmerse himself\u201d in his relationships. Following his very public split from Paige DeSorbo<\/a>, Craig was single and therefore more available to his guy friends \u2014 for better or worse.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think you\u2019re gonna see that, you know, he, for all intents and purposes, sort of isolated himself and really immersed himself in his relationship,\u201d Shep said of Craig\u2019s previous romance. \u201cI don\u2019t recommend that. I think you got to keep a nice balance, because when it doesn\u2019t work out, unfortunately, you have to really recalibrate and reconnect.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cAnd if you had stayed connected the whole time and been a little more forthcoming with your doubts and fears, which we all really should do, like, you should be vulnerable. It\u2019s not a bad thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

For the uninitiated, Craig endured a very public breakup with his Summer House costar. Paige announced in December 2024 that she and Craig had parted ways after sparking a romance in 2021. Paige later revealed that she broke up with the Southern Charm star in November 2024 over Thanksgiving weekend.<\/p>\n

Shortly after their split, the pair low-key sparred online, sharing conflicting accounts of their breakup. Craig claimed that he was \u201cshocked\u201d by the end of his relationship, while Paige was busy denying she cheated on her ex.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat am I looking for in a guy?\u201d DeSorbo asked while reading a question during a February episode of her \u201cGiggly Squad\u201d podcast, seemingly writing off dating for the time being. \u201cFor them to go away, is what I\u2019m looking for. For them to turn around and not talk to me, is probably the No. 1 thing on my list. So this Valentine\u2019s Day, it\u2019s all about me.\u201d<\/p>\n

News later broke that Craig had joined the celebrity-approved dating app Raya, which he later admitted was just an attempt to get \u201cvalidation.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt didn\u2019t feel as good as I thought,\u201d he told Andy Cohen<\/a> in February.<\/p>\n

Despite his friend and fellow costar isolating himself, Shep had nothing but positive things to say to Us about how Craig came back into the fold now that he\u2019s single.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think he does a fantastic job,\u201d Shep told Us. \u201cI\u2019m happy. I like single Craig.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shep also supports Craig\u2019s many endeavors that also keep him away from his buddies \u2014 endeavors that don\u2019t involve women.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhitney and I and Austin spend a lot of time together,\u201d he explained. \u201cWe love Craig, and we stay in touch with Craig. Craig\u2019s a busy man.
