RIO GRANDE VALLEY\u00a0\u2013\u00a0The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros men’s basketball team is set for their home opener as they host the Southwestern Adventist University Knights (3-1) on Monday at 6:30 p.m.\u00a0at the UTRGV Fieldhouse.<\/p>\n

The Vaqueros will be home for just one game before heading back on the road to visit Missouri State (11\/22) and Illinois (11\/24).<\/p>\n

Monday will be a Monday Madness game, presented by Driscoll Health Plan, game, and\u00a0will feature\u00a0a DJ for pregame and in-game festivities, party lights throughout the night, and glowsticks, presented by Vaquero Outfitters, that will be distributed to fans. Lights will be shutoff at various times during games to allow party lights and glowsticks to illuminate the gym.<\/p>\n

There will also be a Book Drive where fans can\u00a0donate new or unused books to families in the community.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Fans can purchase tickets online at\u00a0UTRGVTickets.com<\/a>.\u00a0Students get in free with a valid student ID but will need to claim a ticket at\u00a0GoUTRGV.com\/StudentTickets<\/a>.\u00a0All fans need to follow the clear bag policy and photo policies, among others, details of which can be found here<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n
