Buzzfeed Australia<\/a> promoting their new album and upcoming tour of the same name, the band was asked why they chose Perth as the final stop on their 2026 tour.<\/p>\n\u201c(Perth\u2019s) the most isolated city on Earth, and it\u2019s the most expensive city to get to,\u201d guitarist Michael Clifford said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe needed to make sure we had enough budget to get there,\u201d singer Luke Hemmings added, with Michael agreeing the band \u201chad to make sure (they) could get to Perth\u201d.<\/p>\n
It wasn\u2019t just logistical planning behind the decision, however.<\/p>\n
\u201cPerth just deserves it. They do. \u201c drummer Ashton Irwin said, with Michael chiming in: \u201cI love Perth\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe just love going to Perth and (the tour) should end there \u2014 they deserve, like, the finale of the EVERYONE\u2019S A STAR tour.\u201d<\/p>\n
The clip has already been watched more than 193,000 times, with Perth locals in the comments ecstatic to hear the stars singing the West Coast some praise!<\/p>\n
