{"id":289873,"date":"2025-11-17T06:59:18","date_gmt":"2025-11-17T06:59:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/289873\/"},"modified":"2025-11-17T06:59:18","modified_gmt":"2025-11-17T06:59:18","slug":"erebus-motorsport-signs-lochie-dalton-for-2026-supercars-bathurst-1000-bend-500-enduro-cup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/289873\/","title":{"rendered":"Erebus Motorsport signs Lochie Dalton for 2026 Supercars Bathurst 1000, Bend 500 Enduro Cup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>EREBUS Motorsport has announced its 2026 Ryco Enduro Cup roster, featuring the recruitment of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-2740-Lochie-Dalton\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Lochie Dalton<\/a> from Tickford Racing.<\/p>\n<p>Dalton will partner <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-1701-Cooper-Murray\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cooper Murray<\/a> in the #99 entry that almost won this year\u2019s Repco Bathurst 1000, while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-2803-Jarrod-Hughes\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jarrod Hughes<\/a> will continue co-driving the #9 that will soon be spearheaded by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-2756-Jobe-Stewart\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jobe Stewart<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a bit bittersweet to have to split Cooper and Jobe up after such a strong showing at Bathurst and The Bend this year, but we\u2019re excited by the prospect of having Jarrod and Lochie complete our Enduro Cup line-up,\u201d said Erebus CEO Barry Ryan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBoth of them have proven speed, focus and bring a determination that fits Erebus and what we\u2019re aiming to achieve moving forward.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/superstore.v8sleuth.com.au\/products\/erebus-motorsport-from-challengers-to-champions-book?utm_source=SRBuyButton&amp;utm_medium=website\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/erebus-champions-book_1024x1024.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Dalton is coming towards the end of his second season at Tickford, both of which have involved main game wildcards and Super2.<\/p>\n<p>The 23-year-old Tasmanian remains an outside shot at the second-tier title this year, entering the upcoming Adelaide finale 147 points back from teammate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-2773-Rylan-Gray\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rylan Gray<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It was in a wildcard with Gray that he placed 13th in the Great Race last month.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m excited to be joining Erebus for the enduros in 2026 and pairing with Cooper,\u201d said Dalton.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/News-Dalton-Hughes-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-241238\"  \/>Lochie Dalton and Jarrod Hughes.
