Find Out<\/p>\n<p>Meet Deepti Bhatnagar<\/p>\n<p>Deepti Bhatnagar is married to <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/topic\/randeep-arya\" styleobj=\"[object Object]\" class=\"\" commonstate=\"[object Object]\" frmappuse=\"1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Randeep Arya<\/a>, the son of Dharmendra\u2019s cousin Veerendra, who was a popular actor in Punjabi films of the 1980s.Deepti Bhatnagar was born in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. She moved to Mumbai and started a handicraft business before being offered modelling work. She later won a beauty pageant at just 18. Within a month, she had Rs 1 lakh in her bank account, and within a year, she bought a home in Mumbai.\u201cWhen I came first to Mumbai at the age of 22, I opened my first bank account with State Bank of India, Juhu, and vowed that by the end of the month, I\u2019d have a lakh in my account. Modelling was easy money, so I succeeded,\u201d Deepti told Hindustan Times in 2022.\u201cWhen I came to Mumbai, I wanted to buy my dream house in 11 months. And, I did! In Juhu, and that too, from <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/topic\/madhuri-dixit\" styleobj=\"[object Object]\" class=\"\" commonstate=\"[object Object]\" frmappuse=\"1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Madhuri Dixit<\/a>,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>She acted in films across multiple languages<\/p>\n<p>Deepti Bhatnagar made her acting debut in Sanjay Gupta\u2019s 1995 action film \u2018Ram Shashtra\u2019 with Jackie Shroff, Manisha Koirala, and Aditya Pancholi. She then appeared in Telugu film \u2018Pelli Sandadi\u2019 (1996) and Tamil film \u2018Dharma Chakkaram\u2019 (1997).She also made her Hollywood debut as the lead in Fred Olen Ray\u2019s 1997 spy thriller \u2018Inferno\u2019, which was R Madhavan\u2019s first film. Later, she acted in several Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi films, including Indra Kumar\u2019s 1999 romantic drama \u2018Mann\u2019 with Aamir Khan and Manisha Koirala.In 1998, Deepti played the lead role of a cop in the TV show \u2018Yeh Hai Raaz\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Deepti Bhatnagar trained under Shah Rukh Khan for role<\/p>\n<p>Despite her early success, Deepti admitted she was always hesitant. In the early 1990s, after a popular ad with Shah Rukh Khan, he trained her for the role of Anna in Kundan Shah\u2019s 1994 romantic drama \u2018Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa\u2019. We got engaged the same year. Then, I moved in with him. After eight years, I asked him, \u2018Shaadi karoge ab?\u2019 (Will you marry me now?).\u201d The couple have two sons, Shubh, 18, and Shiv, 12. Deepti is also an aunt to TV actor Arjun Bijlani, who is married to her niece Neha Swami.<\/p>\n<p>She discovered her passion for travel globally<\/p>\n<p>Deepti shifted her focus from films to travel. \u201cI\u2019ve travelled the world with my family and gave birth to both my children while hosting \u2018Musaafir Hoon Yaaron\u2019. Both my sons travelled with me and exploring the world with them is my biggest blessing,\u201d she had told Travel + Leisure India.<\/p>\n<p>She produced popular travel shows on television<\/p>\n<p>In 2001, Deepti started her own TV production company with her husband. She produced popular travel shows including \u2018Yatra\u2019 and \u2018Musaafir Hoon Yaaron\u2019, in which she travelled to 90 countries. \u201cMy shows \u2018Yatra\u2019 and \u2018Musaafir Hoon Yaaron\u2019 have taught me humility, how to connect with people, and to appreciate the world\u2019s beauty. Whether I was acting or now creating travel content, the essence of what I do has always been about sharing meaningful stories. Over the years, my journey has evolved, but my passion for exploring and showcasing the world remains constant,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Deepti now creates content for travel enthusiasts<\/p>\n<p>Today, Deepti is a YouTuber and content creator, and has 190K subscribers. \u201cMaybe if I had made acting in movies my goal, then I would have done more films.
