Jamie Dobie hopes Scotland<\/a> can go some way to building bridges with their disgruntled supporters by finishing their disappointing Autumn Series with a strong display against Tonga<\/a> on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The Scots were booed by a stunned Murrayfield crowd after blowing a 21-0 lead against Argentina<\/a> with a capitulation in the last half-hour that brought a 33-24 defeat.<\/p>\n

Having also squandered a golden opportunity to notch a first-ever win over New Zealand<\/a> the previous weekend, head coach Gregor Townsend<\/a> has come under heavy fire in recent days as his team\u2019s inability to get results against opposition of substance comes into sharper focus.<\/p>\n

While a victory is the minimum expectation against a Tonga side ranked 19th in the world, it will not alter the fact they have lost all six matches they have played in 2025 against sides currently ranked in the top eight.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think we owe ourselves and the fans who have been turning up for us,\u201d scrum-half Dobie said. \u201cYou hear how much they got behind us last week in the game against New Zealand and even on Sunday when things were going against us.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re obviously disappointed and we want to play the best rugby we can in front of them. We\u2019ve been really well supported for years now.<\/p>\n
