PALM DESERT, CALIF. (KESQ)\u00a0\u2014 Golden Boy Promotions will kick off its 2026 fight calendar with the first-ever boxing event at Acrisure Arena. <\/p>\n

The fights are scheduled for Friday, Jan. 16 and will be broadcast exclusively on DAZN.<\/p>\n

Headlining the card, NABO Welterweight Champion Alexis \u201cLex\u201d Rocha (25-2-1, 16 KOs) and NABF Welterweight Champion Raul \u201cEl Cug\u00e1r\u201d Curiel (16-0-1, 13 KOs) will finally settle the score after their heated first meeting ended in a draw. <\/p>\n

This fight is scheduled for 12 rounds between two of the top contenders in the sport.<\/p>\n

On the undercard, Coachella Valley\u2019s Manuel \u201cGucci Manny\u201d Flores\u00a0(20-1-1, 16 KOs) and Tijuana\u2019s Jorge \u201cEl Ni\u00f1o Dorado\u201d Chavez (14-0-1, 8 KOs) will meet in a rematch from their fight in July that ended in a controversial draw<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The super bantamweight clash is scheduled for 10 rounds.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel blessed to be making an appearance in this new arena,\u201d said Manuel Flores. \u201cI am ready to showcase in this rematch that we are on different levels.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
