The explosive Palm Beach Currumbin teenager received a bid from Richmond at Pick 5 which was quickly matched by the SUNS.<\/p>\n
Patterson is the second StreetSmarts SUNS Academy graduate selected in the Top 10 at tonight\u2019s Draft, following Zeke Uwland (Pick 2).<\/p>\n
Boasting elite raw speed and power, Patterson\u2019s daring approach and willingness to take the game on has caught the eyes of recruiters through his draft year.<\/p>\n
Deployed as a dashing half-back, Patterson has earned All Australian honours in both Under 16 and Under 18 levels, also earning selection in the Marsh AFL National Academy in 2025. He\u2019s played 11 VFL games across the last two seasons, finishing with 24 disposals in his most recent outing.<\/p>\n
