Kate Winslet and King Charles\u2019s first meeting was indeed the highlight of her recent appearance on the talk show, \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live!\u201d When she arrived, the host mentioned that the Hollywood star, who lived in New York for nearly 10 years, had moved back to her homeland in the United Kingdom. Furthermore, they discussed the monarchy ruled by King Charles, as the actress gushed over his kind personality.<\/p>\n

While talking about the 77-year-old, Winslet recalled her first encounter with him, when he was still a prince. She told Kimmel that Charles had arrived at the royal premiere of \u201cSense and Sensibility.\u201d Before jumping into the fascinating part of the story, the \u201cTitanic\u201d star justified the upcoming happenings, saying that she was \u201conly 20.\u201d Additionally, she didn\u2019t realize that she was truly going to meet a member of the royal family.<\/p>\n

Hence, it skipped her mind that she was \u201cwearing a kind of transparent lace outfit.\u201d However, fortunately, she had a \u201ccoat.\u201d The 50-year-old\u2019s younger self was getting nervous as the now king made his way towards her.
