{"id":295233,"date":"2025-11-19T17:01:07","date_gmt":"2025-11-19T17:01:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/295233\/"},"modified":"2025-11-19T17:01:07","modified_gmt":"2025-11-19T17:01:07","slug":"the-most-difficult-part-of-diogo-moreiras-motogp-adaptation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/295233\/","title":{"rendered":"The \u201cmost difficult\u201d part of Diogo Moreira\u2019s MotoGP adaptation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">The Valencia MotoGP offered 2025 Moto2 World Champion Diogo Moreira his first chance to ride the Honda RC213V he will campaign in 2026, and there was one aspect of the premier class grand prix machinery that stood out above all others in needing time to understand.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Moreira was not the only 2026 rookie in the Valencia test, as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/wsbk\/racer\/995265\/toprak-razgatlioglu\" data-entity-type=\"external\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Toprak Razgatlioglu<\/a> also rode there with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/motogp\/teams\/prima-pramac-yamaha\" data-entity-type=\"external\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pramac Yamaha<\/a> team, but unlike Razgatlioglu the Brazilian had not been afforded the luxury of private tests before the one-day official test in Valencia \u2013 so this was a true \u2018first taste\u2019 for Moreira.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">There are several parts about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/motogp\" data-entity-type=\"external\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">MotoGP<\/a> bikes that make them more extreme than others, particularly the Michelin tyres, engine power, and carbon brakes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">For the newly crowned Moto2 World Champion, it was the latter point that was the most difficult to get his head around.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cAt the end, I think the most difficult to understand was the brakes,\u201d Moreira said after the Valencia test.<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cWe need to warm up the brakes very well.
