{"id":297441,"date":"2025-11-20T16:58:07","date_gmt":"2025-11-20T16:58:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/297441\/"},"modified":"2025-11-20T16:58:07","modified_gmt":"2025-11-20T16:58:07","slug":"tarran-mackenzie-pens-2026-worldsbk-deal-with-ducati-team","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/297441\/","title":{"rendered":"Tarran Mackenzie pens 2026 WorldSBK deal with Ducati team"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">MGM Racing Performance has announced Tarran Mackenzie as its rider for the 2026 WorldSBK season.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Mackenzie and MGM will continue the partnership that started after the UK Round of the 2025 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/wsbk\" data-entity-type=\"external\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">World Superbike<\/a> Championship.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The British rider was able to step onto the German team\u2019s Ducati Panigale V4 R from the Hungarian Round after Scott Redding departed the team following the UK Round to join the PBM Ducati team in BSB, where he will remain in 2026. Mackenzie himself had started the season with the MIE Honda team, but that partnership ended after Misano.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Mackenzie was able to progress through the season, taking his best results at the final round in Jerez where he scored three top-10s and a best finish of seventh.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cI\u2019m so happy to be continuing with MGM Racing for 2026,\u201d said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/wsbk\/racer\/1044102\/tarran-mackenzie\" data-entity-type=\"external\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tarran Mackenzie<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cJoining Michael [Galinski, team owner] and his team in Hungary was a real pleasure and brought that enjoyment back into my racing that I had lost, as well as confidence.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cBy the end of the season, I really started to feel like my old self again.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cFrom having no ride to then achieving my best results in WorldSBK was something I couldn\u2019t have imagined, and to end the year like we did in Jerez was the perfect way to go into the off-season.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cMy journey in WorldSBK so far hasn\u2019t been an easy one, but I really feel like I\u2019ve found my home with this team, and I can\u2019t wait to see what 2026 brings.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"MGM Racing Performance has announced Tarran Mackenzie as its rider for the 2026 WorldSBK season.
