\n\tMeryl Streep<\/a> and Dave Franco<\/a> are among the stars taking the leap to Pixar<\/a>\u2018s Hoppers<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\n\tDisney<\/a> released the animated film\u2019s full trailer<\/a> Thursday ahead of its theatrical release March 6, 2026. Piper Curda, Bobby Moynihan and Jon Hamm<\/a> were previously announced as leading the voice cast for writer-director Daniel Chong\u2019s original feature. <\/p>\n

\n\tAlso joining the voice cast are Kathy Najimy, Eduardo Franco, Melissa Villase\u00f1or, Ego Nwodim, Vanessa Bayer, Sam Richardson, Aparna Nancherla, Nichole Sakura, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Steve Purcell, Karen Huie and Tom Law. <\/p>\n

\n\tHoppers centers on animal-loving Mabel (Curda), who uses advanced technology to \u201chop\u201d her consciousness into a robotic beaver in order to speak directly to the other animals.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe animal council has been summoned,\u201d Streep says as the insect queen in the trailer. \u201cThe shrill beaver is right. Their treachery ends here now! Let\u2019s squish the humans.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tChong (We Bare Bears) helmed the movie from his own script. The project was first announced at the D23 fan event in 2024<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe have assembled a legendary cast for Hoppers, and the voice talent really gave the film all they had. Be it uproarious humor, heartfelt emotion or crazy animal noises, they delivered beyond our expectations,\u201d said Chong and producer Nicole Paradis Grindle in a new joint statement.<\/p>\n

\n\tNext year is primed to be a big one for Pixar, as the studio\u2019s Toy Story 5 hits theaters in the summer<\/a>. Pixar\u2019s most recent release was last summer\u2019s Elio<\/a>, which disappointed at the box office despite a positive critical response.
