Andy Byron, the married former Astronomer CEO who launched to viral infamy in July for his Coldplay concert \u201ckiss cam\u201d moment, has sold a full-floor condominium in Tribeca for $5.8 million, Crain\u2019s reports.<\/p>\n
The outlet adds the sale \u201ccoalesced quickly.\u201d<\/p>\n
The deed for the sale appeared Tuesday in city Department of Finance records \u2014 and the residence was not publicly listed for sale. What\u2019s more, the deed seems to show Byron remains married to his wife, Megan. Their current address in Massachusetts, as the filing shows, is shared.<\/p>\n
Astronomer, for its part, is based in Manhattan\u2019s trendy Flatiron neighborhood.<\/p>\n
The couple more or less broke even on the sale, having purchased the dwelling for $5.4 million in 2022 from the building\u2019s developer. The new owners, Crain\u2019s notes, are corporate lawyers.<\/p>\n
They inked the contract in mid-September and closed the deal in early November.<\/p>\n
The unit has four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, along with an open kitchen and a wine refrigerator. The living room boasts exposed brick walls, while the primary suite has a walk-in closet.<\/p>\n
Byron and his HR director, Kristin Cabot, weren\u2019t known names until July 16. That\u2019s when Chris Martin caught the two embracing at a Coldplay show in Boston. The video spread across the internet in almost no time.<\/p>\n
Byron resigned from the job that same week and Cabot the following.<\/p>\n
