HOUSTON — The Texans<\/a> defense showed why it is the league’s No. 1-ranked unit, sacking Buffalo Bills<\/a> quarterback Josh Allen<\/a> eight times to give Houston the 23-19 win<\/a> and quite the confidence boost in its playoff hopes.<\/p>\n

Davis Mills<\/a> threw for 153 yards and had two first-half touchdown passes to help the Texans (6-5) to their third straight victory.<\/p>\n

Allen threw for 253 yards without a touchdown after notching six touchdowns last week in a win against Tampa Bay.<\/p>\n
