Jelly Roll<\/a> has switched up his look, leaving his wife Bunnie XO<\/a>, and the rest of his family and friends in complete shock.<\/p>\n

The Grammy-nominated<\/a> artist, who recently toured Australia, decided to shave his beard for the first time in 10 years.<\/p>\n

The last time he had a clean-shaven face, he admits, was when he was “fresh out of jail”.<\/p>\n

Jelly Roll documented the process in a YouTube video<\/a> as he took a razor to his famous beard and shaved it clean off.<\/p>\n

\ufeff”My daughter’s going to see me without a beard for the first time ever,” he said in the vlog just before his transformation.<\/p>\n

His wife watched on in shock as he slowly shaved every last bit of hair off his chin.<\/p>\n

“Oh my god,” she said in amazement.<\/p>\n

“You guys, I have been with my husband for going on 10 years now, [and] I have never seen this man without his facial hair,” she said in an Instagram reel teasing his transformation.<\/p>\n

Once clean-shaven, he walked out of the bathroom to surprise his friends and family, who were all truly stunned.\ufeff<\/p>\n

“\ufeffThe total naked face, it’s not terrible,” Bunnie said as she reacted to her husband’s new look.<\/p>\n

“Oh my god I’m going to cry I don’t like this,” one friend joked. \ufeff<\/p>\n

Jelly Roll then addressed the vlog, showing off his freshly shaven face to the world for the first time and joking that he looks like a “Ninja Turtle”.<\/p>\n

He explained that one of the reasons he started growing a beard was to help “cover up” his face when he was overweight.<\/p>\n

But he was now curious to see what his face looked like after so long and after pursuing a health and fitness journey.<\/p>\n

Later in the same video, Jelly Roll fought back tears as he reflected on his recent nominations for the 2026 Grammy Awards.<\/p>\n

“When I look at these nominations all I see is God,” he said.<\/p>\n

“\ufeffI want to cry. Wow, country album of the year. It’s not even about the album or the nom. It’s about the name.”<\/p>\n

He concluded the video, encouraging his fans to \ufeffjoke about his new look.<\/p>\n

“Y’all make fun of me now and leave comments about my double chin.”<\/p>\n

The Save Me singer<\/a> recently arrived in Australia in October for his first ever Australian tour<\/a>, which took him to Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, Melbourne, Newcastle, Perth, Sydney and Townsville.<\/p>\n

But things didn’t exactly go to plan. During the recent No Filter with \ufeffKate Langbroek podcast<\/a>, the singer said he started to suffer stomach problems soon after he arrived in Australia, which in turn affected his mental health.\ufeff<\/p>\n

“When my stomach’s not right, nothing’s right. My mind’s not right. Everything. I’m just not thinking clear,” he said.<\/p>\n

“I’m having to be super isolated. I don’t like it. I’m spending a lot of time in my hotel room by myself, just in my head. I miss my family a tonne.<\/p>\n

“Everybody wants to go home when they’re sick. That’s just in us, I just don’t feel good, so I just want to go home.”<\/p>\n

“I’m falling apart. It’s a horrible week. I’m doing the worst mentally I’ve done in a long time,” he continued.<\/p>\n

“I’m really far from home and it’s really hitting me that I’m really far from home, like in an anxious way\u2026 I’m not having fun and I want to go home.”<\/p>\n

But it was not his only gripe with Australia, with the singer also taking to social media to air his frustrations after visiting a designer store in Sydney<\/a>.\ufeff<\/p>\n

“Hey man, the Louis Vuitton in Sydney, legitimately just treated us like we were finna (sic) come in and rob that place,” he said in an Instagram Story.<\/p>\n

“I have never been looked at more like a ‘crim’.<\/p>\n

“Listen, the last time I was looked at like a criminal this bad… I was an actual criminal \u2013 this bad.”\ufeff<\/p>\n
