Image: Google<\/p>\n<p>So, what does this mean for agents?<\/p>\n<p>While Flight Deals can impact travel advisors by catering for flexible, price-driven travellers, it can also create new opportunities to engage clients with complex needs.<\/p>\n<p>Advisors can handle complex itineraries, such as specific requests or logistical requirements, focusing on areas where you can offer more value than a tool through in-depth product and destination knowledge and personalised service.<\/p>\n<p>It shifts the conversation from simple price comparison to personalised itinerary planning, using AI as a tool for agents to prompt inspiration and recommendations.<\/p>\n<p>In a<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.google\/products\/search\/agentic-plans-booking-travel-canvas-ai-mode\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"> blog post<\/a> about the new Google Flights capabilities, Google VP of Engineering, Search Julie Farago said: \u201cThanks to our latest AI upgrades, Search can handle some of the heavy lifting: New AI-powered features can help you build the perfect itinerary, find the best deals and turn your plans into bookings.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"574\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Google-Canvas-1024x574.webp.webp\" alt=\"Google Canvas\" class=\"wp-image-3147670 lazyload\" title=\"Google rolls out major AI travel tools \u2013 here\u2019s what agents need to know about the latest tech upgrades 2\"  data- style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 1024px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 1024\/574;\"\/>Canvas tool example in AI Mode.
