Have your tissues handy when you tune in to the final season of Stranger Things<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n The fifth season of the hit Netflix series drops in three parts, beginning Nov. 26, and creators Matt and Ross Duffer<\/a> have promised that this season is “the biggest [the show has] ever been<\/a>” \u2014 but it also might be the most emotional installment, too.\n<\/p>\n “I would say season 5 is not as violent as season 4, but it has the most violent death of any season,” Matt, 41, told U.K. outlet The Times<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n While the brothers said that in general they “try to restrain ourselves” when it comes to how gory the battles get, some parts are unavoidable.\n<\/p>\n \u201cThe goal was always to scale up each series with the age of the characters and our audience, but then we keep getting new audiences,” Ross told the outlet. “Hopefully, parents don\u2019t get too mad at us.\u201d\n<\/p>\n ‘Stranger Things’ cast in season 5.<\/p>\n COURTESY OF NETFLIX\u00a0<\/p>\n Though it’s going to be violent, the brothers knew that every character had to have the perfect final bow after a decade onscreen<\/a>. \u201cEvery character\u2019s ending needed to feel right,\u201d Matt said. \u201cThat was more important than providing the fans with the ending they\u2019re hoping for.”\n<\/p>\n He told the outlet he doesn’t “even look online,” though, so he’s “not actually even sure what people want to happen.”\n<\/p>\n “At the end of the day, this is the final chapter in a coming-of-age story,” Ross added. “How do you leave childhood behind? That\u2019s one reason we created Vecna because he preys on all that uncertainty and anxiety. I assumed it might get emotional. But 20 minutes in \u2014 and we\u2019re not even a third into the script \u2014 Noah [Schnapp<\/a>] is bawling his eyes out, like deep sobs,<\/a>” Charlie Heaton<\/a> told Variety<\/a> of the table read for the finale. “And then Finn [Wolfhard<\/a>] was crying. I was like, ‘I\u2019m not going to cry. I\u2019m going to feel very normal, and it\u2019s going to be great.’ And then halfway through, I just started totally bawling my eyes out.”\n<\/p>\n
