Image: InSyde Media<\/p>\n<p>The fire occurred during qualifying for the Trico Trans Am Series on Friday evening at the South Australian circuit with three individuals injured.<\/p>\n<p>They were treated at the circuit before two were transported by road to hospital in Adelaide.<\/p>\n<p>They are in a stable condition with one already released from hospital.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMotorsport Australia advises that a pit lane fire occurred on Friday 21 November at the Mallala Homecoming event at Mallala Motorsport Park in South Australia,\u201d read a statement from the governing body.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe incident took place during the Trico Trans Am Series qualifying resulting in three individuals being treated by medical staff on site, before two individuals were transported to hospital.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne individual was released from hospital while the other remains under observation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMotorsport Australia extend thanks to the officials and first responders for their work at the scene.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>  <a data-bid=\"1\" data-no-instant=\"1\" href=\"https:\/\/t.cfjump.com\/92797\/b\/289522\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\"><br \/><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none; vertical-align: middle;\" alt=\"\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/1763784376_117_289522.png\"\/><br \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"There was an incident in pit lane during Trans Am qualifying at Mallala.
